Charitable Incorporated Organisation 1178154

Welcome to the website of the Norwich & District group of the Riding for the Disabled Association, where we hope you will find all the information you need about us.

If you have any queries, we will be happy to help you, and you can contact us via the link on the Contact Us page, or using the details at the bottom of this page.

Our group is small and friendly, and specialises in therapeutic riding for children of primary school age.  We accept riders with a range of disabilities.  We ride on Thursday afternoons in school term time.

Please note we have a waiting list for applicants.

The sessions are conducted by one of our trained and experienced coaches, assisted by horse leaders and side helpers. In addition, we have a fully trained physiotherapist, who is a member of the Chartered Physiotherapists in Therapeutic Riding and Hippotherapy.

The group is a member of the national organistation Riding for the Disabled Association, a federation of more than 500 groups throughout the U.K. We are trained and regulated by the national organisation.

We welcome enquiries; volunteering to help with the riding, perhaps to help us with sponsorship or a donation, or maybe you have a skill or service to offer.

All offers of help are greatly appreciated!
